Nathan Moncrief, CFA

Nathan is a keen investment professional whose passion was sparked by his family’s entrepreneurial spirit. He’s always up for a challenge, whether it’s leading operating companies, analyzing investments, or convincing his wife that the latest business book is a must-read. He believes that businesses have a responsibility to give back and make a positive impact beyond their immediate stakeholders. When he’s not tending to the Para portfolio, Nathan splits his time between Winnipeg and Kenora with his wife and two kids. They’re always on the lookout for new places to explore and delicious food to devour.

Chris Thorne, CPA

Chris is a man of many talents, and we’re lucky to have him on our team. He is actively involved in the management of key partner companies and thrives on cultivating lasting relationships. He has experience in corporate finance/banking and public accounting; and currently serves on several boards and committees in both Winnipeg and Kenora. We’re not sure how he manages to do it all, but we suspect he’s secretly a superhero. Chris is also a devoted husband, and dad to three fearless daughters and a giant Great Dane. We’re pretty sure his secret power is being able to handle anything life throws his way!

Bonnie Procyshyn, CPA, CA

Bonnie is a rockstar when it comes to managing accounting and tax compliance. With over 15 years of experience working with large public companies and small owner-managed private enterprises, she knows her stuff. Having family members who own small businesses, she understands the day-to-day challenges faced by entrepreneurs, giving her a valuable perspective. When she’s not overseeing Para’s team of number-crunchers, Bonnie loves hanging out with her husband and two young boys. You’ll often find them munching on cinnamon buns at the Forks or visiting polar bears at the zoo.

Blaine Clapham

Blaine brings over 20 years of experience creating, owning, and building small businesses. He is a family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids at their Headingley residence, as well as summers at their cottage. As a community champion he has volunteered on the local community club board for a decade, and has been involved coaching hockey, ringette, curling, baseball, and soccer. For the past seven years, he has been an active consultant, sharing his expertise and insights to help others manage and expand their businesses. Whether you’re seeking sage advice or just want to chat about the latest sports scores, Blaine is your go-to.

Lauren is no rookie—she's been rocking it in the professional world for almost two decades, mainly working with private companies at a top-notch accounting firm. When not working, Lauren loves cabin life! When she is not on the lake or outdoors in nature, you can find her coming up with inventive ideas and projects to nurture her children’s creative spirits.

Outside of work, Sheena’s passion for travel and exploration fuels her quest for adventure and new experiences. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two dogs, immersing herself in nature’s beauty.
